Cozy Kittens

This is my pretty little ragdoll, Anika. She HATES getting her picture taken.

My adorable, soft, delicous, cozy, sweet, precious baby Sox.

This is Bunny. He's so cute!

Cookie is wanting to join Anika in the clubhouse...but he's afraid to pass her. She is cranky!

He's still trying to decide what to do.

He decided it wasn't worth it. Haha! Isn't that the cutest face ever!?

Bunny is looking pretty chubby and fluffy. I just wanted to EAT him!

Anika is NOT amused by the boys.

Cookie coming to snuggle. :) He's very cozy.

Fall Beauty

Okay, so this isn't the poem I was talking about in my earlier post...but it is one I found from a few years back.

Crisp, fall air gently cools my face.
Vibrant colors surround me in this place.
Red, yellow, orange, and brown.
I sit upon the fallen leaves covering the ground.
In this place of solitude, who could possibly frown?
I sit in the silence and pretend I'm alone.
But smile at the rabbit who crawls out of her home.
I hum along with the birds as they sing their song.
And wish I could stay here all day long.

Autumn Leaves

October

I just have to say that today is amazingly beautiful! I would have some pictures to go along with this post..but my camera's batteries are dead. Maybe I can take some pictures tomorrow.
The leaves seemed to have changed color overnight! When exactly did this happen? It's so pretty! And there is NO breeze outside (which pretty much NEVER happens at our house. So this is a miracle.) but the air is not too cold and not too warm. Just perfect for a jacket. Crunchy leaves are covering the ground perfectly! I can hardly stand it, it's just so beautiful!
It reminds me of a poem that I wrote for school a long time ago. It was a poem about Autumn...but I can't remember how it goes. If I happen to find it then I will post it.

I hope you are all enjoying this weather as much as I am!

A Thousand Songs

Dry parched lips and a thirsty tongue.
A thousand songs still waiting to be sung.
I lift up my eyes to the heavens above.
My King is rich in mercy, power, and love.
You may scoff, but to you this promise I make...
When Jesus comes back, the whole universe will quake.
The heavens will open, His glory revealed.
Every tongue will confess Him Lord,
And every person before Him kneel.
He will quench the parched lips of the sinners redeemed,
And we'll all join the angels and together sing.
He will satisfy the thirst of His beloved's tongue.
Then we'll lift up in praise,
the thousand songs that were waiting to be sung.

Jeremiah 50:33-34

This is what the Lord Almighty says:
The people of Israel are oppressed,
and the people of Judah as well.
All their captors hold them fast,
refusing to let them go.
Yet their Redeemer is strong;
the Lord Almighty is his name.
He will vigorously defend their cause
so that he may bring rest to their land,
but unrest to those who live in Babylon.
